We’ve spent the last three days hanging out in New York. We’ve visited the Metropolitan museum, which has the best collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts outside Cairo, as well as visiting the Rockafeller center and St. Patrick’s cathedral.
We also managed to meet up with our friend Dan and his lovely partner Matt a couple of times. We’ve both known Dan since he was 18, and he actually introduced us to each other 15 years ago, so he’s a special friend to us. He moved to New York 7 years ago to pursue a career in fashion and is currently menswear designer for Marc Jacobs. We went for a few drinks and a Mexican meal on Monday, and then drinks and Pizza at Dan’s apartment on Tuesday. It was great to catch up!
