Today is Easter Sunday, the last full day of our travels as we’re heading back to London tomorrow.
In some ways it’s a sad day, but we’re looking forward to seeing our families and we had some fab news this morning! At 3.22am and 3.39am Matt’s brother Mike and his beautiful wife Jess were delivered of twins – a boy named Jacob and girl named Naomi. What a great thing to happen on our last day!
We spent today hanging around the local area, taking in the coffee bar where ‘The girl from Ipanema’ was written. Penny acted out the part to perfection!
We then walked the length of the beach, which was busy as it’s a Sunday.
Then we had lunch in Leblon, followed by a siesta and our final dinner together, complete with a champagne toast to our new niece and nephew!
